Hi all!
It's been a while --pressing issues have taken front seat to
forum activities except brief reads now & then.I trust all are well.
Finally did it!! -- in an effort to have a very light PSG I have
cut into an old Dickerson lap steel and am proceeding to out-fit it with pedals & knee levers 2 x 2 . Looking good so far -- blue
flake paint job , new marker board , nicer keys , etc. looks to
be really light. E9 tuning ,lowering & raising E's .More to come!

Pastor, this sounds interesting! This is what they did in the early days before regular pedal steel was invented - crude set-ups with wire coat hangers with hooks up thru the body, hooked over a string behind the nut and the pedal stop might have been a 2X4 under your foot...
Give us details..and lots of pics as work progresses!
