:) well this is where I'm at now until I can set up some tools, anyhoo this is the design I went with for what it's worth... :lol: haven't even cleaned the layout dye off it duh.....Stormy

Stormy, man I totally missed this one til just now. What a great looking project! You're coming along nicely. I love a lot of details in your design.
Tell me, how thick is your side rail and how thick is the apron? Also, How thick is the end plate extension? I take it you put a screw thru the end plate extension and into a threaded hole in the rail?

:) Yo Bent my man, the side rails are 1/4" x 3" on the front, just cause I had a piece layin around, the rear is 1/4" x 21/2" , the ends are 1/4" the inside screw wings on the plates are 1/8" thick , the body has 3/4" decks and 1/2" aprons so they slip down between the inside rail (s) and the endplates. And yes about the screw in the middle bearing rail where it attaches to the changer cavity 1/8" thick) and to a 3/8" brace welded to the other end. :geek:
