Marlen Finger Relief.......Burt??

Is there any relief on the "legs" of the Marlen pull release finger or do they make contact at the bottom also. I was thinking of grinding 1-2 thou off to make them pull easier. Maybe polishing is all that is needed???

A thin nylon washer is used in between the fingers on my Marlen, to prevent the fingers rubbing together

Thanks Burt, now to find those washers, maybe time to make a set of punches.
