Here's a pic of the pedals i made today, you can see the progress from rough grinding after welding to sanded with 100grit to first step polished :) .

Hey Pat
That guitar is looking great! Looks like it wont be to long to complete. Looking
at your work inspires me to push on and get going on my first guitar! My hat
is off to you.

Pat it sure is coming together! That looks great for your first mica job. What type of wood did you use under the mica??
Great photos of the pedal work as well!
Something familiar about that keyhead... ;)

Way to go Pat, it's looking good for your first Mica. What did you spray on the bottom, looks really good....

Pat -

'Tis said that sometimes the little things can make a big difference. That grey "flocking" on the underside is a super nice touch. So much easier on the eyes than old "basic black". Overall, the look is one of professionalism. I commend you on your artistry and craftsmanship. Should be a real winner when it's finished!

Question: - It would appear that most builders use narrow aluminum angle to hide the edge joint between vertical and horizontal mica surfaces. Have you come up with an alternative method? I ask since I know that you're inventive as all get-out!
