Cross shaft position question
Cross shaft position question
Well got one guitar ready to be marked out for cross shaft positions do you guys use a pencil to mark the underneath of guitar on the wood body where the cross shafts should be? and for a single 10 how do you go about it? Steve B.
Re: Cross shaft position question
Steve, there might be standards for this - don't know. What I do is decide where I want the first pedal rod- say 5" from inside of the end plate or somewhere between 1st and 2nd tuning key. Then this decides where your pedal needs to go and this again decides where the pedal crank has to be, as well as where you have to put the cross shaft.

Re: Cross shaft position question
Wow Bent, I did not know there was so much to a single neck steel guitar just to get it set up, I am going to post pictures soon, I am using Black Endplates powered coated.
