Thanks Ross and everybody for your kind words. Here is a sound clip. As usual, my friend Dale Rivard from Tilbury On. comes to test-play the newest BenRom. This one was no exception. Here he is, playing a well known tune. http://soundcloud.com/benrom/dale-rivard-mansion-on-the

:D Don't know bout you guys but the tone of this guitar ,maybe it's the tone-aligner, is just fabulous the lows sound to me so Sho-Bud like I get chills, and the string separation don't get better but that's jus my 'pinion...Stormy  oh yeah and kudos to Dale real sweet playin !!

Storm, You are not just hearing things. One heavyweight in the business told me the same thing - great string separation, plus other pleasing adjectives.
Also, a top dog builder told me how he loves the beauty of the tone and is wondering if he should switch to brass fingers like in the BenRom. It is music to my ears, man!
Dave G..thanks so much for your kind words! I use Mohawk instrument lacquer. And Mohawk vinyl sealer. One or 2 coats of the sealer and up to 6 coats of lacquer. My spray equipment is rather chintzy..Just a cheap gravity fed HVLP sprayer hooked up to a little compressor.

:D Well all the previous BenRom's that have had a sound clip sounded very good consistently, but something in the tone of this bad boy is special just has "it" u know what I mean homey....you're doin something very right somewhere...Stormy  What u need to do imo is when build 008 comes up ,get an identically wound Tonealigner from Bob and have Dale do a soundclip of the same song and try and ascertain if it is the Tonealigner. If so ,u could offer them as cost+ option ...just a thought...Stormy
