Bent, it's a matching pair! sound and beauty. Great job!!!! The detail on the changer is excellent. a long way from what mine will look like it
What brand of lacquer do you use on the maple and what kind of sprayer? Thanks

Storm, You are not just hearing things. One heavyweight in the business told me the same thing - great string separation, plus other pleasing adjectives.
Also, a top dog builder told me how he loves the beauty of the tone and is wondering if he should switch to brass fingers like in the BenRom. It is music to my ears, man!
Dave G..thanks so much for your kind words! I use Mohawk instrument lacquer. And Mohawk vinyl sealer. One or 2 coats of the sealer and up to 6 coats of lacquer. My spray equipment is rather chintzy..Just a cheap gravity fed HVLP sprayer hooked up to a little compressor.
