Got the case last night. Got a link to a local case maker, Royce Riehl from my good friend Peewee Charles. Don't regret for a second that I settled for the more pricey flight case.

Today will likely be lacquering day...

Bent my friend, she IS STUNNING ! How did you get the maple on the top decks so white? did you bleach it?

Dave, judging by the blue that turned out a shade lighter, I would say the picture is lying. But is is nice and white I would say - and the lacquer enhances that. One thing that is hard to see in the pic; the top deck board under the pad is darker than the other one. I also love the way that the "lightning bolt" turned out.
