Hi Dave, I am envious as usual. Those guitars of yours are second to none - always.
Would you mind telling us how much it weighs?
What scale length do you use?
How about some pics "under her skirt"? - the interesting side of a pedal steel!
Kudos again my friend!

Re: Finished building
Ron you have built a beautiful and strong pedal steel that I am sure you will be proud of owning. I predict that this will not be your last one.
I love to observe all the great talent out there!
Good luck and keep on building.

Re: WTB/ End Plate
If you luck out, you might find a good used one. Do you have the old one? If so, in lieu of finding a used one, you could take the old one to a machinist and have him duplicate it - at a cost of course.

I think your work is beyond compare, your work ideas are ingenious and your end result is pure eye candy.
Maybe your 2 helpers will get some "licks" in on the finished product?
Kudos to you an a top quality product!

Will, thanks my friend...always nice to hear from you!bluesteel wrote:Nice work as always, Bent. I see you made a detail change in the pickup. The fixing screws now operate on the baseplate, not the top plate. I like that. It looks better.

With a guitar that beautiful, you should have dressed up in a tuxedo. Richard Well....Richard, I thought I did you a huge favour by donning my Sunday best as opposed to just staying in the shop clothes. Now you want me to dress up like some penguin or something? Hm...ugly don't get any prettier in ...

Re: RogerDodger -BenRom006 finished!
Absolutely beautiful. I like the way you did the pad. I had seen a pedal steel that had a round socket for the bar storage, and something you might consider is in the space beside the keyhead, making some kind of tray for the bar and picks. By the way, my birthday is in June.... Scott, thanks you s...
