Hi Eldon
First step's done I have ordered Maple for body and sapele for the fret board
and to be honest with you it it wasent as expencive as I thougt..But Ive got to go adout 50 mile to collect it..
now Ive got to look for all the other parts..

Hey Eldon What a fantistic piece of work ! and thank you ever so much for taking the time to do this for me.. I can now start looking for some wood/timber (not sure what you call it over there) this has now given me a new lease of life, as to be honest Although I am only learning the one i have here...

Thank you Eldon, some hard woods easyer to get here than others the dark woods easyer to get mahogany sapeli, I do prefer the lighter my self mapel birch oak.. what I have been wondering is..the pics I have seen it looks like the fretboard part has been put on top of a wider peice of wood .....or is...

Hi, Iam pleased that Ive been allowed to join the forum, I have given a small introduction in the intro part.. I hope you dont mind me posting so soon after joining I have loads of questions being a newbee, My only skill as a beginner is that I am a carpenter / joiner. loads and loads of enthusiasm,...
