I was wondering if anyone has ideas, wisdom, etc regarding using angle steel welded to form the end plates or corners. ...

Re: How to make bellcranks?

hmmmmm. if your cross shafts were hollow stock, it would be possible to use round stock sections that would be a slip fit inside your square shaft on each end and either pin them or attach with screws from the sides. I know they make the smaller size square tubing, but no sure if the wall thickness ...

Re: sd 10 plan needed

I also have a set of plans that I am working from but I am afraid that they are kinda of generic in nature and since I have yet to finish my construction I can't assure you that they would be correct as they are printed. I...

Re: Top Plate thickness?

Would there be any advantage with inlaying a re-enforcement between the neck and underlying cabinet to stiffen the whole top in a pedal steel? I remember many years ago my father would inlet a small metal I beam into his guitar necks to prevent neck bowing.

Re: Pickup construction

I don't know if this will help anyone and it is probably already common knowledge but the following site has supplies for pickups including magnets, wire and bobbin and flat material for construction. http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups.html
