Oh...I was going to mention. I've got at least a 50 lb. box of small aluminum bits under my bench, leftovers from steel building. Probably enough to cast a whole guitar in one piece, LOL

Yes, you're right on the 4 jaw chuck. No matter, think I'll stick with the round shafts anyway, and grind flats along them. Works for me.

Allan.... the square piece on the bottom is threaded as well and serves to lock the whole thing onto the cross shaft.
