Re: Finally!!
Holy smoke, that is one sweet changer design, 4 raise, 3 lower? Looks a bit like an Excel. Would love to know how your changer works. Hats off to you! Thanks muchly for the compliment! You are right 4 raise/3 lower, the brass adjuster at the top is the split tuner. The mechanism's basic function is...

Re: Finally!!
That's one of the most elegant looking keyless tuners I've seen. Do you have a diagram of how that works? Awesome! Here ya go: I changed a few things, but the basic design/function is based on Lamar Colvin's keyless tuner on my Lamar psg. Hopefully the cross section makes it function clear. In a nu...

Finally!!
Been playing this sweet little thing for 3 weeks now. After lot's of set up experimentation and some nit-picking, its working really well and sounds good too.....I apologize for the poor photo....don't know what it is with me and cameras, but we just don't get along. I had a whole bunch of detail sh...

Re: Rods that pull fingers in the changer system question
3/32, 7/64 and 1/8 are all used....depends somewhat on your bell crank attachments, changer finger hole sizes and desired thread. All this info is available in depth on the Steel Guitar Forum.
The 2.4mm that Maxi19 uses is essentially 3/32
I'm using 3/32 with a 3-48 thread

Re: Machining Puzzles
The parts in the photos above are my pedal cranks. The portion the pedal rod "hooks" to is a separate piece that is not shown.
