I have to agree with Ross, having done machinist work for the last 25+ years before retiring.
Everything looks 1st class, personal preference (not criticism) need 2 more strings(I know Bent), also the back side (neck) area needs something...Bottom line great job.
FWIW...It should be a crime to put mica, or paint over a pretty piece of wood,
sorta like putting a lot of makeup on a naturally beautiful lady

As a retired 'toolmaker' I too agree with Ross, unfortunately, and I believe there are many like me, I only have a 12' x 8' wooden shed for a workshop.
I would dearly love a 'Bridgeport' vertical mill, a cnc machining centre, but accommodating them in the given space would require nothing short of a miracle.
Still, perhaps we may win the lottery!

Dave, you might consider the Grizzly G0704 - has the attributes you list, and definitely up to milling those endplates.
