Got my mill running!!

Post by Bent »

Drum roll please...!
I am thrilled to announce that my milling machine is now up and running. My benefactor sent an employee to hook everything up yesterday: Step-up transformer from 220 to 575V and a rotary phase converter, to convert my 1 phase to 3 phase. Everything runs just great. So now I just need to get a couple of items bought, like a clamping set and some parallels and I should be pretty well set.

Wonder what I should try first? A set of end plates? a key head? This will be lots of fun!

Great stuff Bent. That's a whoppin' big machine. Maybe you should check with CPR or GM or Ford to see if they need anything built!!

Anyway, best of luck with your endeavours.

....and Merry Christmas to all your gang
