seems to be similar functionally to your changer...though not nearly so nicely made!

Yes Ross, that changer is for an all pull system, but I think that is where the similarity ends I'm afraid.

How do you think they're function concepts differ? Obviously your's should certainly function better (smoother, more accurate, durable, etc...).

It seems both would have to use the top and bottom stop/fulcrum points as your's does.

Yes Ross, sorry I omitted to say the function is exactly the same, it is an old mode really, where my pull rods fit thru a swivel arrangement, that other appears to depend on the pull rod holes being large enough to alleviate binding, I am trying to make a straight pull thru the centre of the changer finger rather than on one side. As yet I don't know how satisfactorily it will operate as this is only my second steel attempt.
I am still learning as it goes along, I will put up more photo's and comments and help are always welcome.

Can't wait to see the completed project and hear the sweet sounds I'm sure it will have. I apologize if this has been stated already, but was wondering what scale length you are going to use and what pickup is planned? By the way I really like those pedals

the pedals I picked up on' E-Bay' and polished them up, the scale length is 24" and I am considering a 'George L' pickup unless some of our members can recommend another?
