Hi guys,
I'm at it again, just have look at this small piece of quilted maple that I'm playing about with. I've just put a bit of varnish on it to see what it would look like. Have a look at my post about INLAYS to see more photos of a guitar I'm bulding from this wood (on page 5).

Quilted maple is my very favourite of that family and that looks like a nice piece there. Did you ever see what is sometimes called tiger quilting? It has all the effects of quilted maple but it is slightly less random in appearance.
Only nuts eat squirrels.
Keep yer tools sharp! That way you can use more of your strength guiding them AWAY from your body rather than forcing the cut!!!
