Hi Ray, What a super idea! This is really exciting. You have worked totally outside of the box, where everything that can be wood, is. All I see for metal is the changer and the tuning keys. Even the knee levers are wood? Well why not?
This project begs for more, like pics of the underside (detailed and CLEAR). Last but not least, a sound clip!

I like what your doing , something new and different but still the same goal thats great, how bout some pic s of underneath. I personally like the wood look and using wood anywhere you can, wood is a great medium, thanks for posting your project it looks very good .What kind of wood are you using and i noticed the wood keyhead , ive used that myself and it works with no problems just keep everything tight and it ll be fine and it ll have a more natural sound being wood. Hello
The wood is Meranty I had never heard of it
but the carpenter joiner who sold me this off cut said it would finish a shade of pink to red it is
very light, when you cut or plane it, it looks almost like Balsa wood.

Probably "Meranti", which is a trade name for some hardwood types of the Shorea genus.
Anyway, that PSG looks good. I wonder what it sounds like.

Hello
This is some parts of the under deck, changer and pull rods, close up of cross rod 6mm round section, to hold crank in place 4mm stud with 4.5mm Dia indent drilled into bar, and also how I tune the LKL 4th string to F, as you know the pedal 3 tunes 4th string to F# and that is tuned at the back with the other raise and lower tuners.

Hi Russ
Thank you for your kind words and interest, I have not made up any plans, as I work it all out in my head and just try things out, however I have videoed the making of the guitar, and I hope I can make an instructional film to go on YouTube once I have edited it, and maybe if there is any interest in a manual that could be the next project, I designed the guitar to be built by any one with a small shed/workshop, and a few simple D.I.Y. tools, I can only say watch this space. regards Ray.
