Hello builders forum.
I have a question i know i should know the answer too but, if my shobud is upside down in its case, the lower springs you see, what exactly dod they do? If everything works as it should even if 1 or 2 go missing, should i be concerned?
Many thanks
Shobud springs question....?
Re: Shobud springs question....?
David, Those are the raise helper springs. They're probably only on the strings that are raised. Some people say they're really not needed. Their purpose is to make the pedals easier when raising strings.
Re: Shobud springs question....?
David, the ones closest to the wood deck are the raise helper springs...correct.
I don't think they are needed. If you think your pedals move easily enough, then everything is ok.
