Dave that was a fine rendition of an Emmons classic. I could only wish to reach that plateau...
You steel sounds great, just like a steel should sound. Tell me how you recorded this..like: cam audio or was it done in a recording program? Any effects used or is it just the steel and amp?
What pickup do you have on that steel? Do you wind your own PUPs?
I told you I would have lots of questions. This is only the start :-)

Hi Bent,

I'm pleased that you like it. I played Danny Boy on the Sheffield D10, George L (TW) Tommy White pick up (E9th) (PF1 C6th) No effects just my guitar into my Session 500, (I want to try i with my new WEBB 614-E), pot volume pedal & D I into a Zoom porta studio that my wife bought me at Christmas, all recorded at home in the bedroom. I do hope that I've answered all your questions for now?

Dave. :D :D

PS thank you all.

Dave, For NOW yes :-)
It is simply amazing how those little zoom porta studio recorders work. And it is amazing what sound you get out of your rig without any flavouring other than the 500 settings. The Webb is a sweet unit! Looking forward to hearing it.

Ok ONE question: So you run the track DI into the zoom at the same time as you play? Or do you already have the track on the zoom beforehand? Probably basic stuff but I haven't had any experience with the zoom. I saw that John Roche had one when I was over there last year. He had only good words for it...

Hi Bent,
I just had a backing track that I played along to & yes I think that the Zoom is a great piece of kit..
