I am needing to mill down the ends of the cross shafts to fit them into the bushings that go into the rails, what kind of tool is it, and where can I buy it? I have seen Ed Fulawaka use it on his drill presses.

Hi. I visited Ed 2 years ago and he showed what he used to round the ends of a square shaft. He made it himself . Looked like a drill chuck with cutter in it.

Hello Rick, thanks for reply, I need to know what type of cutter, I have a drill press that can do it, but just need to know what type of cutter.

Well I tried everything, my cross rods are 5/16" I guess I
need to cut the ends down to fit the bushings but the only problem is I need a hollow bit or what they call it is annular cutter, around here they want anywhere from $250 - to $2,000 for one, too expensive, I will check with grainger to find an annular cutter, can't find one off the shelf, I hate it when projects come to a halt.
