Things are going too slow - must be my age...
Anyway got these 2 guitars in the works. Amber is going to Per Berner in Sweden and Red2 is going to my partner, George Leite just east of here.
Got them sanded, buffed and polished just today. Ten coats of lacquer this time. Wet sanding with 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500 wet/dry paper plus Maguiars Swirl remover and Maguiars Machine glaze.

I really like the red one Bent. Did you stain that with the leather stain?

Bent, You know how I love a red guitar, if it were a 4+5, SD12, and I had the $$ it would be headed to SC. USA....Bill

Hi Paul,
I use exclusively the dyes from StewMac now. It wasn't exactly the red I was looking for but closer than the leather dyes.

Bill, I had no idea! I have not been on the forum much lately. I hope you get to be 100% after the surgery
