really gorgeous Bent....I've got the woodwork coming up soon on the steel I'm building and and also coming close to finishing an OM copy (6 stringer acoustic). I've done a fair bit finish work on guitars, furniture, amp cabs 'n such and painted lots of bicycle frames in my past, but finish work is still my least favorite part of making things. Seeing this beauty is an inspiration....hmmm, maybe I should just send my stuff in need of laquer to you!

Just Kidding, great job as usual Bent!

Bent,

Another job well done! Any fly trying to land on that one will have a crash landing for sure
Can't wait to see the final piece.

That is going to be one beautiful guitar Bent! :o
I changed the strings on my old Shobud the other day. Threw it up on the bench and really cleaned out the nooks and crannies and tri- flowed up the mechanisms. Setting up on the bench I really appreciated what a beautiful piece of wood and neat guitar it was. I've been working on adding a few knee levers and couldn't help noticing all of the slop in the mechanism. Even parts that had very little wear. After working on Aircraft to tolerances of thousandths of an inch for years it is obvious to me that a better better pedal steel can be built. I'm sure it has already, but I'm not familiar with the newer guitars at all.

This cabinet looks very similar to an old Bud Bent. I haven't been on this forum in a while.illl have to read up your old threads before I ask any stupid questions.
