Ok Mac, I get it now. Simple, quick to change the string and secure it. Nice - any fool can make it too complicated, it takes a thinker to make it simple!

Would anyone still have the drawing for this available? I am just starting to dabble around and this looks like an interesting place to start.

Mac (the OP) wrote a book that includes a description of how to build his keyless tuner. It has some dimensioned drawings to help guide you. It doesn't look like he's been on this forum for quite some time. You could try contacting him though his web site
