Beautiful as always, Dave. Question: Why the uneven cross shaft spacing? If 2.5" pedal spacing, why not go for even cross shaft spacing of 1.25"?
Is easier knee lever spacing the reason?

Hi Bent, I've maybe found the best way to avoid parts clashing & to be able to fit 9 pedals and up to 8 knee levers in such a cramped space for my design. You are on the money as usual my friend, but like you I'm always trying to improve my design & finding out new or better ways of doing things, it just evolves.

Yes, gotcha Dave! Whatever we find that works best for us. Your designs are highly functional and at the same time beautiful!

Hi Rick, I'm pleased that you like her, unfortunately she is a one off because the guy that I get my wood from said that in all his years trading wood he has never seen any quilted maple so beautiful, so that is why it is for myself as I know that I cannot replicate this piece of wood again. Hello Dave what size bit did you use to fit the border trim onto the body? Steve B.

Hi Steve, I use a dremel in a router attachment which has a tiny dremel cutter about 4mm diameter.I keep taking out the wood until I reach the desired width & depth. I do hope this helps. Dave. :D

Hello Dave, thanks for the reply, yes it does help, that sounds like the way I will do my guitar, did you mark out where you would router it out first?

Hi Steve,
You're spot on, Just mark out where you want the rebate and carefully route it out, patience is a vertue. Dave
