Hello Dave, finally got the border trim routed out on my guitar ready to install my border trim, where do I put the glue, on the border trim or on the area of the guitar where border goes?

Hi Steve, depending on the type of glue that you use is where you will apply it. I use super glue and Just run some in the routed groove, approximately 4" or so at a time because it dries very fast, then quickly insert your inlays into the groove making sure that the inlays are sitting correctly, then hold in place with some strips of tape. Repeat this operation until you've completed said inlay/s, when dry, remove tape and sand to a smooth finish. NOTE!!! LOTS OF PATIENCE IS REQUIRED!!!!!
I hope this helps. Dave. :ugeek:

CNC machined out of a solid block of aluminum. You could have a post at either end like an Emmons style with a 13-14mm cross shaft/axle shaft but to get it all to very close tolerances by hand you will have to have a lot of patience. Dave
