You can get a decent vertical DRO from MicroMark for about 50 bucks. I equipped my Grizzly 0704 in X and Y for 120 bucks or so last year. It already had DRO on the Y axis. They are easy to fit, accurate and repeatable, and a great help. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Thanks for the information on MicroMark. I went to their website. It looks pretty promising. I'll have to do a bit more studying up on them and make that be one of my next additions to my Smithy. They are very reasonably priced for sure and a wide variety of them. Thanks again .
