This may have been covered before but I have been asked how do you get a perfect radius on a changer finger unless you have a milling machine? Well I have a small milling machine that will do the job but I still prefer to use the method I started with back in the early 80's. Yes it takes a bit longer but the results are well worth it. Quite simply 2 pieces of 3/4" diameter silver steel with the bore of your choice, i.e. 3/8" or 1/2", hardened and tempered, then just file away until the file slips on the hardened steel parts then use some fine emery cloth and finish with 1000 grade wet n' dry. polish with Brasso or any metal polish. I've used this with all metals , brass, mild steel, and aluminium. Stainless is a bit more difficult but can still be done. Now all I have to do is figure out how to attach the pictures. I just keep getting crazy signs comming up. HELP HELP!!

Hey Shakey,
Got pictures of the complete changer finger? Appreciate a few photos. I liked your way and description of how you round the tops of the changer fingers.
Thanks,
Paul
