The back didn't want to keep the bend :mrgreen:
That will be the most challenging part of that build

I'm applying the PU two parts varnish with... a cotton pad, just like french polish. First time trying this way, and I think I'll never use a paint gun anymore :D

After two caoats (one per day, light sanding with steel wool just before the new coat), before steel wool:
