Not yet, still browsing. Some great ideas & techniques on this site. Will start after the new year.

Have also decided to do some alterations to my pedal steel though, I have a pretty old GFI student model, 3 pedals - 2 knees and would like to add a couple of additional knee levers. GFI sell them as kits, but I think my version pre-dates the kits. I did email them but didn't get a reply, the kits are quite expensive $150 per lever + P&P. I don't think the kits would necessarily work on my model, so I'm going to have a go at making & fitting them myself.

For some reason on the GFI earlier Student models they have put the raise E's to F as the RKR, where it seems to usually be the LKL on most other PS, so I'll start by shifting that, then add the right knee levers.

Will be good practice for when I decide to build my own PS

Better see how I get on with the building the Lap first
