Table top legs

Hi, I am building a table top aluminum/wood lap steel guitar using channel 6061 aluminum and have everything fitted. My next step is to route for the pickup, do some finish work, paint, and reassemble.

I am looking for fairly inexpensive folding legs. The legs would be hidden inside the channel and when extended, allow the guitar to be lifted slightly off the table. I remember seeing something in the past from a hobby project but I have searched Stanley and others catalog with no success.

Has anyone seen or used anything similar?
