rickenbacker jb 10

Post by harry sibum »

Hi guys,

Anybody out there got an original Rickenbacker JB 10?
This afternoon I am gonna collect a battered jb 10. However, the wooden console has been replaced for an aluminium housing. I want to bring the old lady back into her former glory, so I need to have detailed pics and dimensions. Also I'd like to know if the housing was solid or made out of different pieces in an acoustic way.

Please help!
Many thanks,
Harry

Here I am again; I decided not to reconstruct a whole new body; instead I fit all parts together, and now I have a beautiful instrument with Rickenbacker parts that plays and sounds very well.
Does anyone have some tunings for a tenstring lapsteel?
All inputs are appreciated a lot!
Pictures will follow.

Best regards from Holland,

Pictures would be great. You might get some tuning ideas here

or here

Andy Volk's book is a great inspiration, too. HTH.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.
