Thanks for your comments, much appreciated. Well Eldon that is the plan for the future. I've already got ideas for the next 8 string lap rolling around in my head. I want to try to get a little more fancy with the next one. I just kind of threw this together as a practice run to see how I could do. Overall, I am happy with the sound and I like the 23.5" scale. I purchased a cheap lap steel in November last year with a 21" scale and I was hooked. I'm still learning, practicing, and loving it more each day.
