A start on my next one.

Here are a couple of pictures of the rough cut body for my next lap steel. It is made from the same White Ash tree from my fathers first dairy farm. It will be a 8 string long scale at 25.5".
It is now just roughed out and I am waiting on a pattern bit for my router. I also hope to do a bit more "carving" on this one. Both pictures were taken the same time, just different settings on the camera trying to get the best view of the grain pattern. As you can see my photography skills are some what lacking
