A new steel

here is another console steel made from cypress and oak with a little walnut and aluminum 8 string my design tuner and pickup i got on ebay
ill add allen head screws for the tuner 1/4 inch thread sea and finish it up with some coats of clear Lac , 24 inch scale , i made the fret board which is poster board and glue it on with some elmers spray glue, anyway enjoy and thanks for looking, comments welcome ,Ill probly use 3/4 inch for the legs and paint them and maybe a kick board at the bottom front . It's good to see someone posting projects again, I was beginning to think building had ceased, please keep posting. :D :D

Hey Ron , i havent been doing much the last few months but Ill probly always mess around with these things , i recently got a sierra 12 string uni and have been playing that alot , it amazes me as to so many ways to tune these things to get so many different sounds, amazing . ill try to post more as i go along , What are you building , im sure its going to be very nice , keep me informed or the forum here , have a great day .
