both have a pine board for the base which is 1 3/4 inches think and the necks are about 5/8 thick , they play good and sound as good as anything Ive heard anyways hope ya like them , cost was really low cost ,7 string pickup was only 10 bucks on ebay and I got the double humbuckers with wiring for 15 $ on ebay also pine and oak for the necks were free off an old pallet . Hi Russ,

Looks pretty good! I too like the fret boards; did you make them yourself? if so HOW?

Fret boards were made from posterboard , they have that splash colors on them I laid them out to a 24 inch scale cost about a dollar for the poster board and a wide magic marker total cost maybe ???? too low to figure lol I glued them on with some elmers spray adhesive , works good . I got tired of looking at the same ole black or white fretboard so I did these . Russ
