Hello my name is Frank. I'm new to the forum. I have some questions to toss out.

1) Has anyone on the forum ever made an alluminum lap steel like those made by Fouke? It seems like it would be pretty straight forward. Is tunning stability a problem with alluminum guitars?

2) Does anyone make a lap steel body? It would be so cool if someone did something like Warmoth but for lap steels. I know some people buy cheap imports and use those as the base of their projects but I've heard the quality is poor.
