An idea of mine...

Post by pro3tlb »

Here is an idea I had for combining my love of the Steel Guitar, and my nearly 50 years of Volunteering in the Fire/Rescue and Emergency Medical Services. I plan on building both a Lap Steel and a Pedal Steel. The lap steel will be painted bright red with a polished aluminum diamond plate fretboard. The pedal steel will be bright red lacquer with natural top and a white fretboard. Here is my Logo; and instead of using wood inlay bands, I plan to do Gold Leaf as seen on Fire Apparatus. What do you think? This is just a rough idea for now, I'll need to do a better computer generated detail of the logo, and the gold leaf is from a photo of an antique fire engine I found online to get an idea of what I want to do. Also, the steel in the logo will have a red skirt when I'm done.
