Guys
Just some more food for thought about end plates. In looking at the
GFI guitars, they are doing end plates in grey, gold, and black finish.
I dont know if it is paint or anodized or what! It could be an attempt
to cut production cost, or cut production time. My point here is just
to say that there is a second option to polished aluminum! It looks
like sort of orange peel affect.
Your thoughts!

Wayne,

it's all up to you but ...i like polished aluminum endplates for me it looks better and more professional in my opinion, but it's alot of work buffing aluminum :shock: , that's what i'm doing right now...i've spend all day buffing endplates, bellcranks ect... :cry: but at the end it's well worth it ;) .

Yes I agree. I have looked into it a bit and found that it is very hard to paint aluminum
with good results.
