Thanks, Bent, for the kind words.

Re the colourful screws, I thought , since they are aluminum, they could be drilled and used for custom through-the-body string anchors beyond the bridge in lap steels. Pick a colour to suit your finish.

Maybe you pro fellows use steel items made for the job, but I am not familiar with what they are called, or where to get them.

Keep yer tools sharp! That way you can use more of your strength guiding them AWAY from your body rather than forcing the cut!!!
