Triple raise adapter ?

Post by Scott Howard »

The part desribed in this article I think posted by Bill Ford but may be wrong. I had first seen one of these on a guitar that was redone by Tom Bradshaw . They work great when needing a triple raise or lower and faced with a MSA type double raise / lower changer.

I got tired of center punching and trying to get the drill started straight so I made a jig today . Makes it a lot easier.

Scott,
That just proves the statement...Never throw away anything, you never know what you will need later,no matter how small. Wonderful what you can do with scraps. Before they stopped you from scavenging the local landfill, I used to pick up wood scraps from a cabinet shop, made a lot of useful stuff, parts bins/boxes,etc.

Also when/if you ever buy a tool chest/box from a retired machinist, never, ever throw anything away. All those seemingly useless "thingies" were made for a purpose.

Don't you just love when a plan comes together???
