Emmons S 10 setup jig and leg thread questions

Hello all.
I am wanting to do some user type adjustments on my Emmons S 10 p/p and would like to
know if anyone has ideas or suggestions about building a jig which would allow me to put
the body in upside down for easier access to the rods, lock collars, compression springs, changer, etc.
Also, does anyone know the thread size of the legs? I have seen several pictures of pedal steels
with short bolts screwed the body in that allows for better setting on a bench or table to work on the
topside of the steel. All suggestions are appreciated.
Best wishes, Walter
