I am posting a few pictures of my shop. It is a mess and I will begin cleaning and organizing it soon. I built the 14' x 20' addition and have not finished it or ever organized anything yet.

I am to the point now to where I can get it cleaned up , organized and to the point that I can spend less time looking for what I need and more time doing what I am trying to do.


Please feel free to post pics of your shop as well . I am not sure if this is the correct place for this thread.

Scott, That's a workshop in the truest sense. I like the look of it because here we see a busy man at work...with maybe not enough time left over to keep it spotless? Only YOU know where to find everything and that's the way it's supposed to be.

That tool on the bench, to the right of the drill press. Is that a press and brake? Looks like it can come in handy. What type pf tasks do you use it for in the steel building?

That is what I have always heard called " arbor press " . I use it with a broach to make round holes square. I have one broach for making holes that are 5/16 square for knee lever mounts or anything that will go on a crossrod . I have one for a 3/8 hole also that I use when making knee levers .

You start by drilling the correct size round hole for the broach and then press it through and you have a nice square hole. On knee levers You can cut the end out with either a band saw or mill.

Here are some pictures of a couple knee levers I was making last year to match a guitar that has gone back to Canada now.
