Dimensions of George L 12-5 pickup!?

I have a 1960 Alkire 10 string console steel and I want to put a George L 10-5 or 12-5 in it. The string spacing at the pickup is ~3.43" total which works out to about .380" string to string. I checked a 10-5 in one of my steels with a tuning fork and it looks like it will work up to 3.2" so I think I would need the 12-5. I need to know the length of the 12-5 to see how that would fit on the Alkire.
