Bent, I just love the contrast between the deck, and the skirt. There is just enough contrast to be really nice..You done done it agin...as they say in these parts..Bill

Bent, What Richard said, I have no knowledge/experience on tumblers,but a beadblaster will remove minor tool marks, and leave a nice satin finish(been there,done that) I have a really nice one from harbor freight that works very well for me.I have the small one pictured here, your size needs may be ...

But...It's only got 10 strings (just kiddin) lookin good my friend.
FWIW..a beadblaster saves a lot of time deburring, and gives a nice matt finish when polishing isn't a part of the build.

Blue is good, of course, any color is good as long as you can see the grain/figure of the wood...I don't like mica (jmho) looking good Steve.
