Re: Herby Wallace passes
Makes my memories about his performance in Dallas 4 weeks ago, special. Sad news indeed.

Maybe BE's C6 setup will do...

I think it is a JD setup on my new, old, C6...

Re: How would you design a linear-action vertical lever..?
I see potentials in Bent's "knee-cup" too, but the segmented "cup" should only be segmented to allow for size/shape adjustments to go with the individual player's knee. Having a "cup at the end of a joystick" will cover the control/functionality we today have with LKL, LKR and LKV, and also the forw...

Re: How would you design a linear-action vertical lever..?
Richard, I don't mind non-linear movements in the least as long as the non-linearity in itself isn't causing detectable problems. My legs, and body as a whole, move non-linearly, and to me it is a question of making pedals and levers on the PSG work as well as they can with my natural body-movements...

How would you design a linear-action vertical lever..?
I'd like to hear your thoughts about how to design and integrate a more linear-action vertical lever, as well as whatever thoughts you may have about designing a forward-moving lever. And, having both a vertical and a forward-moving lever on same knee, along with the 2 regular levers. • All vertical...

Re: Emmons P/P
I wasn't commenting on the weight of the PP instruments - they are average for constructions of their time. Even if weight does play a role in the Emmons PPs' overall sound character, total weight in itself is not essential for "that" tone. It's the sonic characteristics of PPs bridges I was comment...

Re: Emmons P/P
The topic is interesting enough for me to chime in with my observations. PPs are "heavy metal rattlers", and the Zum Hybrid is exploiting the same "rattle-points" mechanics to some degree. Whether the Emmons PPs got the sonics of a "rattler" intentionally, or by accident as a result of practical con...
