Re: Left handed Steel Questions

The 1st string, F# plain...

Re: My First Build Update

I have to agree with Ross, having done machinist work for the last 25+ years before retiring. Everything looks 1st class, personal preference (not criticism) need 2 more strings(I know Bent), also the back side (neck) area needs something...Bottom line great job. FWIW...It should be a crime to put m...

Re: Marquetry ?

joey, Here are a couple pics of a Sho-Bud with the style cabinet that sounds like you are planning, the banding can be bent around corners. All I have ever seen was 36". Go to the link below, watch the video. Not to get off subject but, when you get to setting the leg mounts, think "end plates" on t...

Re: My Sheffield D10 is slowly taking shape

Dave, The only thing I see wrong with your build, it ain't red, (just kidding) Beautiful work. You would not believe the problems I went through to get the red color/shade I was wanting, one of the former Sho-Bud people sent me a PM and told me the method they used. It was a dye from Sherwin Wms., I...

Re: RogerDodger from BenRom

Neat lil thingy you got there, this is what separates the guessers from the do'ers, way to go Bent. Dave, Every time I look at a new project of your's, I am in awe of your cabinet making skills, and as with Bent, all your attention to detail. A little "heads up" to all on the forum......When/if you e...
