Well at it again, I am working on my cross bar bearing plates for the underneath of my steel guitar, most pedal steel guitars use a little longer cross bar bearing plates 25 3/16 inch length, can I get by with a 25'' cross bar bearing plate, instead of 25 3/16" plate. answers or opinions greatly app...

Hey Ross I will be posting my double 10 steel soon, the American Steel, just really busy here but working hard on the double 10, right now, thanks everyone for the compliments, I will keep working on it.

I don't mind aluminum ends but I do like stainless better both will polish up great, but I feel stainless is tougher and stronger, on this guitar in this picture I did not use Stainless these are Aluminum but coated. finish will go on soon. Steve B.

The next guitar will have aluminum neck it is being worked on now, it also has polished stainless steel ends, I do not like aluminum ends.

Hello Mac, I did find them on online metals.com just don't know if they would work too well, I will probably use square cross shafts.
