I know this is an old posting, for those of you that would like to refinish mica it is doable by following these steps. Do not attempt to use laquer, for as Bent said it will pill. I have been racking my brain on how to round my square cross shaft ends on my new build, I,m sure glad I stumbled cross this posting from Wayne, I have plenty of stainless steel allen headed screws to tap in the ends. Thanks Wayne for sharing your thoughts. Rick

Help, Help any body??? Could a Guy file down the damaged string finger flat, then install a roller bearing with rivets on the lowering finger after straightening the top of the lowering finger? If anybody has seen a Sho Bud changer changer that hangs up over this problem I know u know what I,m talki...
