I use alnico 5 "Vintsteel" 8 string single coil made by Billy Mostyn in Australia. I use these as a pair in stringmaster with a pickup blend pot. The bridge pickup is reverse wound and reverse polarity. Both are wound to about 8.7k ohms. Go too high e.g 10.9k and treble would be less. That's my thou...

Hi guys. I'm just wondering if plugging the holes is really necessary. The plugging will still be slightly noticeable looking at the aprons from the bottom of the guitar. Yes I have Ron. The folder just doesnt exist on the CD. It's ok though. I found out that the folder "Prints" contains only the 2 files that the author of the CD sent me links to.

Lap Steel Design & Construction CD
I just purchased the CD Lap Steel Design & Construction Version 2.0 CD by R J Gluck. There's some reasonable info there but on the CD it says go to "Prints" Folder and print out files . I able able to get PDF files for most things on the CD but the "Prints" folder in definately not on the CD I purch...
